Lakota Star Ranch Kids Klub

Located a convenient 2.5 miles from the Corsicana city limits, Lakota Star Miniatures raises and trains beautiful and well mannered miniature horses.  Miniature horses are a perfect pet for children of all ages.  Their small stature and great dispositions make them easy and safe for children to handle and work with.  We are starting a Kids Klub to promote and foster interest in the community’s children for learning how to work with and show miniature horses.  All of our horses are reasonably priced and we have many that could be leased if you choose not to make a large investment at this time.  Leasing provides your child with the benefits of the fun without having to actually own a mini. We will offer classes in basic care, grooming, halter showmanship, hunting, jumping and obstacle classes. We will have day camps for kids with minis in the summer, spring break and weekend camps during the fall and spring.  We also offer boarding for your miniature at a very reasonable price.   There are two AMHR recognized shows right here in Corsicana every year and other shows your child could take their miniature to are close by in Conroe, Belton and Glenn Rose Texas.  We will haul, set up and assist you with the showing for a small additional fee.  Call me for further information or to schedule a visit to the ranch.
